Guided tour in Vinci
A guided tour dedicated to two small Tuscan medieval villages, Cerreto Guidi and Vinci.
During the first part of our tour, we’ll visit the Medici Villa with its stories, its legends and the sad story of Isabella de’ Medici.
Afterwards we’ll do a small walking tour in Cerreto Guidi, telling you its story.
After lunch we’ll reach the famous city of Vinci, the birthplace of the great Leonardo da Vinci, an incomparable genius known all over the world.
We’ll have a guided tour in the Leonardian museum, divided into two locations: the Uzielli building and the castle of the Guidi Counts.
You’ll learn the history of genius, through his drawings, his works and the scale representation of some of his inventions.
Later we will move to Anchiano, above the hills of Vinci, where we could visit the birthplace of the genius, where he lived since he was a child with his grandparents.
